The operation demonstrates the confidence that the large and sophisticated US financial market has in CRIF’s credit quality and long-term development strategy.
On May 8, CRIF Spa - a leading company in the credit information, data analysis and business information services sector - completed the issuing and placement of bonds through a US institutional investor. The bond placement envisages a 10-year fixed-rate repayment plan.
The operation is aimed at raising additional liquidity to boost the expansion of CRIF’s international ecosystem and to ensure an increasingly high level of service and innovative solutions. It also represents a further step for CRIF toward the diversification of financing sources and the improvement of the Group's debt profile, extending its average duration.
“We are very pleased to announce this operation,”- commented Carlo Gherardi, Chairman and CEO of CRIF, - “which confirms the appreciation by US investors of our credit quality and CRIF's long-term strategy and growth potential.”
“We are proud to have actively supported the completion of this transaction; BNP Paribas Group is keen to be a global partner for CRIF. Our goal is to make our domestic and international platforms available to contribute to the growing ambitions of the Company in the coming years.” Maria Elena Gasparroni, Head of Corporate Banking of BNL BNP Paribas
BNP Paribas Securities Corp. acted as Sole Arranger; Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria supported CRIF as legal advisor, while Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld acted as legal advisor to the investor. Deutsche Bank's Trust & Agency Services Team acted as the agent bank.
