The series of seminars organized by CRIF and IFAB as part of the "IFAB 4 Next Generation Talents" project has recently come to an end.
The collaboration between CRIF and IFAB for the "IFAB 4 Next Generation Talents" project is supported by BOOM, the CRIF Knowledge and Innovation Hub. This initiative aims to educate university students about the challenges and opportunities related to data and emerging technologies.
“IFAB 4 Next Generation Talents” offers participants the opportunity to interact with academic and business experts in the field of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, tackling interdisciplinary business challenges and accessing internships and job opportunities at innovative companies. Participating in this program means not only achieving high-level training, but also becoming part of a community of innovators centered around the Big Data Technohub in Bologna.
A number of companies are taking part in this initiative, each of which will welcome young talents into their business. Through this training path, these talents will contribute to exploring new themes related to the use of technologies in business. BOOM, as IFAB's chosen partner, has been managing the various phases of the project, from identifying and enrolling participants to communicating the initiative, organizing and defining the challenges, and training company mentors, thus providing students and sponsoring companies with all the necessary tools for a fruitful and valuable experience.
In this first phase, participants had the opportunity to interact with academic and industrial experts, delving into topics such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Supercomputing and Quantum Computing. The challenge phase now begins, where students will work together to create a Proof of Concept based on a real business case, assisted by company tutors.
The edition will conclude with the announcement of the final winners of the Challenge scheduled for June 2024 at the BOOM headquarters in Osteria Grande.
