In November 2018, CRIF spoke at the P3 National Convention about “Micro financing in the Digital Age: creating new Business Models for financial inclusion”. The speakers included the Department of Trade and Industry Secretary, Ramon M. Lopez, and Undersecretary, Zenaida Cuison Maglaya, a representative from the Board of the Rural Bankers Association, Milcah Capundag, and the President of the Small Business Corporation, Luna E. Cacanando. CRIF demoed the Loan Origination System released to support the national implementation of the P3 entrepreneurship fund. More than 600 participants, including 230 coops, MFIs and rural banks attended the convention.
CRIF also attended the Credit Data & Information Sharing event in Manila, an occasion to talk with the National Privacy Commissioner, Raymund Liboro, the President of the Information Security Officer Group (ISOG), Joey Regala, and a representative from the National Bureau of Investigation Cybercrime Department, Francis Señora. CRIF gave a talk about “Technological innovations in data security in data-driven industries in response to business globalization”. More than 150 participants from government and banking institutions attended the event.
Moreover, CRIF attended a meeting at the Chamber of Thrift Banks General Membership, where the RCBC Savings Risk Officer provided a testimonial of CRIF's expertise in advanced methodologies for IFRS9. More than 50 thrift bank representatives attended the forum, in the presence of Central Bank Vice-Governor, Ciuci Fornacier.
