CRIF sponsored one of the key workshops focused on the “Design of smart products for MFIs”, and Rigo Ovchiyan, Business Development Manager at CRIF Russia, gave a comprehensive presentation to over 120 managers of local microfinance organizations on how to innovate by using advanced credit risk management tools, customized scoring models and credit bureau information.
The special guest, Frabrizio Fraboni, shared the IFC’s recent findings on the correlation between the establishment of credit bureaus and the resulting availability of credit histories, and access to credit for SMEs.
To conclude, the new version of SPRINT was presented, the CRIF decision-support solution for automated credit application processing, featuring scorecards specifically developed for MFIs, an enhanced interface, new decision making strategies as well as the ability to price loans according to risk profiles.
