The China event, organized by the Canton of Ticino Chamber of Commerce (Cc-Ti), was held on June 7 at the LAC in Lugano, attended by around a hundred people.
The event was also attended by the Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Bern, Wu Jingchun, who underlined the significant presence of Swiss companies in China and, at the same time, the growth in Chinese commercial activities in Switzerland.
The event focused on practical information for access to the Chinese market by Swiss companies, and on the challenges and opportunities. The most interesting sectors for investment are e-commerce, the machinery industry and health care, catering for a population with a growing life expectancy.
From another perspective, it is important to keep in mind the cultural challenges in the business environment and the difficulties in operating in a little-known market. In this context, it is essential to base business decisions on detailed and in-depth information about business partners.
Daniela Tontini, CRIF Business Development Manager, and Emanuela Falcone, CRIF Marketing Coordinator, presented the business information solutions offered by CRIF, which are crucial for accessing information on local companies and therefore mitigating business risks.
CRIF's privileged point of observation comes from its strong presence in the territory of China, with two companies in China and Hong Kong, and a service offering that ranges from business information, fraud prevention services and an information bureau platform, to risk & management consulting solutions, advance & big data analytics, credit collection and personal solutions.
