World Bank and Italian companies, CRIF at the convention hosted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On May 14, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the convention "Business opportunities for Italian companies with the World Bank Group". Bank executives and national institution representatives attended the event, including World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC) experts, the Italian Ministry of Economics, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and Simest.

World Bank and IFC experts explained in detail the issue of procurement, illustrating opportunities and operational procedures for the supply of goods and services to the World Bank Group in the various sectors.

Moreover, they gave an insight into the financial instruments that enable the internationalization of Italian companies through projects in emerging countries, with the direct testimonies of companies that have already had experience in procurement and co-financing with the World Bank.

Among them, Vincenzo Resta, CRIF International Markets Senior Director, spoke about the partnership between CRIF and the IFC, highlighting the joint procurement work and positive experience gained in various projects worldwide.
