Insurers can access the CRIF database to load claims data, validate an individual's claims history and identify potential fraud. The database has been loaded with all historic claims for Motor & Home, providing users with immediate benefit. Furthermore insurers are given the facility to obtain cross databases searches for relevant information across Personal Injuries, Motor & Home databases. This is a defining moment for the insurance industry that now has a choice of supplier, the first time in over five years.
CACHE Motor & Home as CACHE PI is offered as a web based service providing the users with the ability to batch load, amend claims and enquire in real-time, with many user friendly features. CRIF also offers insurers the facility to batch the submission of claims and enquiries as well as the insurance industry standard XML connectivity, along with traditional methods of communication such as Edifact (EDI).
Already a number of major insurers have committed to using CACHE Motor & Home and CRIF are confident that many others will follow now that competition is a reality. Over 40 people from the largest insurers attended the product launch CRIF Group's CEO Carlo Gherardi opened the product launch by pledging innovation and advancement in the supply of CRIF CACHE based products, "this is only the beginning, we want to provide the industry with support and partnership" he stated.
