CRIF strengthens its presence in the Americas

CRIF Group, Italian leading player in credit risk management and financial marketing, and TransUnion, American company which provides business intelligence solutions in 24 countries and with more than 3,600 employees worldwide, have made great strides to strengthen their long term partnership with the recent signing of an agreement for the creation of a new joint venture, TU CRIF Decision Solutions LLC.

The new company relies on CRIF's know-how and expertise in the design and development of advanced decision support models for credit management and TransUnion's experience in credit bureau systems.
Since 1999, CRIF Group has been present in the US market with CRIF North America Corp., based in Tampa (FL), and in 2001 the strategic alliance with TransUnion brought to a Joint Venture company in Mexico.

Through TU CRIF Decision Solutions LLC, CRIF will provide a specialized range of decision support systems, scoring models and application processing services to banks, financial houses, insurance and telecommunication companies of South and Central America and Canada.
Since only few weeks from its establishment, TU CRIF Decision Solutions has been involved in a project for the supplying in Asp of CRIF's decision engine for CRM to the Canadian credit bureau.

CRIF's software will enable the Northamerican company to improve customer acquisition and loyalty and identify the ideal targets, thus boosting sales and revenues. The agreement also includes the supplying and implementation of CRIF's decision solutions to the customer banking and financial institutions of the Canadian credit bureau.
