All messages to and from the CRU are received electronically including hospital and benefit documentation this means that the need for re-keying and the paper trail to the CRU have been totally eliminated.
Along with the opportunity to liaise easily with other insurers to combat fraudulent claims, the MI wins are significant and add real value to the claims management process.

Robert Shaw, Head of Claims for Provident Insurance comments about the partnership, “Not only was it a real pleasure to see three teams working closely together to achieve a common aim but the enthusiasm, knowledge and support for each other delivered a major project on time and on budget with added benefit to both organisations.”

Following the project’s success, Provident Insurance is once again working with CRIF to achieve further efficiencies and enhance its fraud detection techniques. The new project will now review all Motor claims, so the department benefits from real time claims searches.

Fabrizio Fraboni, Director of International Division for CRIF said “Our aim is to provide complete solutions that assist insurers to maximise their efficiency and thus their profits.  Provident Insurance were one of the very first insurers to integrate the Personal Injury and CRU EM service. CRIF is delighted to have the opportunity to work with Provident Insurance to integrate their motor claims portfolio.”
This initiative is part of Provident Insurance’s commitment to the market to provide high standard of service to its customers.
