To be more precise, concerning the analysis updated to 31st December 2014, in the last 6 years the percentage of the best B2B business partners dropped from 9,53% in 2008 to 6,37% at the end of 2014, with a 33% decrease. However, the data referring to 2014 are the best results registered in the last 5 years: this is the first sign of a slight recovery. The highest level of the most reliable business companies has been observed in 2009 (when they amounted to 10,15% of the total); by contrast, the lowest level has been reached in 2010 and the percentage decreased to 5,53%.
From a general overview provided by CRIF, the geographical area with the highest percentage of B2B business partners, with 9,23% on the total of the Italian active companies, is the North East. North West and Centre following in second and third positions respectively with 8,86% and 5,57% and at the end there are South and Islands with only 2,70%. Emilia-Romagna is the best region in terms of the most reliable companies to do business with (9,97%). Then, Piedmont and Aosta Valley following in second and third positions respectively with 9,73% and 9,18%. Finally, Campania with 2,01% and Calabria with 2,31% are yet areas in real trouble, reason why they are placed in the last positions.
Biella (14,85%), Ravenna (14,39%) and Sondrio (11,70%) are the best provinces; behind them in the first positions there are Mantua (11,67%), Cremona (11,42%), Cuneo (11,40%), Lecco (10,65%), Forlì Cesena (10,63%), Trento (10,61%) and Belluno (10,45%). By contrast, Caserta (1,44%), Naples (1,94%) and Crotone (1,99%) are the less reliable provinces.
At sectorial level, financial services have registered the higher result (19,63%), but industry and manufacturing (8,36%) behind agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing (8,59%) have reached a very good result as well. On the contrary, the lowest percentage in terms of best B2B business partner belongs to the construction macro sector (1,70%).
