The first of its kind in Italy, the “Credit and skills” research carried out by CRIF Academy, the CRIF Business School, gathered the opinions and needs of HR, Training and Credit Managers, to offer a means of sharing and developing credit performance and skills.
In the competitive context of the Italian credit market, there is an increasing correlation between business performance and the skills of personnel, making it necessary for banks and financial institutions to adopt specific methodologies and tools to allow them to quantify this correlation within their organizations and to build a solid measurement and assessment base.
Professionals representing all types of institution (national and regional banks, financial institutions and credit guarantee consortia) and belonging to different departments (HR, Risk Management, Administration and Credit) participated in the survey.
Specifically, the CRIF research looked at the existing relationship between performance and skills, the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and skills considered the most important for each area of the company, as well as the priorities identified by respondents in terms of planned training initiatives for 2014.
